this monument which had deteriorated to a pile of stones. I also created this QR image and web address so future history on Mathias Gabel could be collected for future generations
The following was found on "Ancestory" 2010
I am looking for information on the Mattias Wilhelm Gabel family from Obergimpern. He is listed living in St Louis in the 1850 census with his wife Mary abd his children, Catherine, Josephine, Ther .... Elizabeth Gabel was born June 1853 possibly in Woolwich, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada (Sender unknown)

I found the MathiasGabel grave a pile of stones but over a two year period slowly dried the head stone and because the lower half of the stone had dissolved to a sugar state so I had to cast a new lower section, Then reassemble on Sept 15 2018, Restoration can be seen at. https://schmuckfamilyhistory.weebly.com/old-walled-cemetery-project.html
